David joined Somera at its inception as a partner and CFO. With extensive transaction & operating experience, David supports transaction diligence and portfolio companies directly. Following Somera’s acquisition of Gardian Holdings, David became its acting CFO. Previously, he was a Partner at Paladin Private Equity and was the CFO of two private equity backed companies, Wineshipping and Resource Environmental Solutions.

David focus on financial diligence, capital structure, portfolio finance, and operational improvement. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M and is a Texas licensed CPA. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, collecting wine, and making his famous 12-hour BBQ.
